Financing

Finance your equipment.

Buying a forklift or stacker does not have to mean paying everything at once. Equipment financing spreads the cost over monthly payments — here is how it works and what to prepare before you apply.

What equipment financing is

Instead of paying the full price up front, a lender funds the purchase and you repay in monthly installments. The equipment itself usually serves as the loan collateral, which is why equipment loans are often easier to qualify for than unsecured business credit.

Common structures

For equipment in the $2,000–$20,000 range, lenders commonly offer equipment loans, finance leases with a $1 end-of-term buyout, or fair-market-value leases. Terms are often 24 to 60 months. Rates, fees, and approval terms vary by lender, credit profile, and the equipment itself — always compare at least two offers.

What lenders typically ask for

A standard equipment credit application asks for: your business legal name and type, time in business, annual revenue, the equipment details (price, year, make, model, serial number), guarantor information, and bank or trade references. Having these ready speeds up the decision.
